Likely WP8 Release date

had a convo with somebody in the know with MS.

It was said that WP8 release will be early holiday in November, definitely before Black Friday, but wont be a Sept/October and most likely mid November.

I think most people already suspected this, but still held hope for an early or Oct 26 release date.

Also, they expect to struggle as well with the windows phone platform, but committed to it long-term like what they did with the xbox.

Take with grain of salt.

If history is any indicator, guessing 10/26 for Europe and 11/9 for the US. Almost the same as the 2010 launch.

I'm hoping for October 26th. At least for Nokia.

I figure that there has to be a reason they moved up Nokia World from Sept 25 to Sept 5. I imagine it's because they needed a little extra lead time.
