Any difference between these firmware versions?

Hi. I have just installed the WP Recovery Tool on my PC. As I connected my Lumia 830 to it, the software showed a firmware update was available.

Currently, the firmware version on my phone is 02040.00021.15063.02002
And the recovery tool shows the update's version as 02040.00021.15063.02004



So, is there any difference between these two firmwares? I don't want to install any non-important update on my phone and then wait for the 21 Migration steps! :eck: I doubt if the tool is displaying the correct information.

Because, this page does not show the above firmware version as the latest available for Lumia 830 in India. It is available for the Lumia 730 but not for 830. Also the "phone update" has no new firmware update.

Thus, please advise me whether I should update my 830 through the Recovery Tool or not. Thanks in advance.

Why are you using the WP Recovery tool? This isnt the way to "update" to the latest software available for your 830. It will take you back to the originally installed software when your 830 was sold to you. So if you have updated it via OTA (over the air) updates this will take you back to the original software. You can't 'hop' updates if you use this tool. You will have to install each update until you have the latest.

I know it's not the way. But I had just installed it, not for updating. So I wanted to know if it is relevant. Hmm. Then not to install? Ok.

But the core question remains. What is the difference b/w those firmware versions.
