820 not got GRD2 update like 920 had, in india

hello every1

i would like to know is that since lumia 820 has 4G hardware, still Microsoft has not released a software update to enable 4G option under mobile & sim section under settings menu.

Can you people share your inputs whether its happening in India or worldwide ..??

Enabling 4G is not Update 2 but a separate update specially for the Country Variant India devices.
With Denim the CV India lost the 4G option in settings because 4G was only the 2300 MHz band and this is not supported in most Lumia devices.
But now India starts using the 1800 MHz band and this is supported. So all India devices should get the 4G enabling update.
Because only India "lost" the 4G with Denim only India gets the "4G enable update" (the rest of the world did not loose the 4G option)

Update 2 is only released for the 830 and the 735 (and one 635 version) and the 640 and 640 XL came with Update 2.

So there is no reason why the 820 CV India should not get the "Enable 4G update"
