Windows Mixed Reality PC Check shows that i5-3470 in my desktop fills minimum requirements for mixed reality, but age-old Radeon (6850 - yeah, that old ;) ) is not up for the task.

MS lists Radeon RX-460 and RX-560 and nVidia GTX-960 and GTX-1050 as capable for ultra (90Hz) frame rate. Is there difference between 2GB and 4GB models?
Does anyone use one of those cards? Are they enough for MR?

Requirements for non-ultra (60Hz) look like mobile GPUs, what could be similar desktop display adapters, and does it make any sense to try to go lower than 100-150€ card?

Bonus question: is there any hope of getting 90Hz with 3rd gen i5 :D Is Mixed Reality @ 60Hz any good?

Note that for the coming Steam VR they are currently stating you will need at least(!) an i7 and a GTX 1070 (presumably 'or equivalent') to get a worth while experience. I have gone for a Ryzen 1700X with a GTX 1080.

I have a laptop with Intel 7th gen i5 processor, 16gb ram and NVidia 1050 2gb. This runs Superhot and Arizona Sunshine VR games fine as well as latest games with decent quality, I'd be surprised if in reality the 1050 2gb wasn't sufficient for Steam VR games.

It runs fine on a A12-9800 with its integrated R7 GPU.
HoloTour, Galaxy Explorer, Jaunt Video Player are all working fine.
Free the Night was slow when animating the particles shower.

Will try some more stuff soon.
