    Folks,

Ok a confession here, I have both! While the Gear VR does have some advantages over the Daydream View, I still prefer the Daydream. It's compatible with more phones, including some Samsung phones, and I think it's easier to find content and download games and apps. NOW in some cases Gear VR has stuff that Daydream does not have, plus it has a way to view just about any app within VR, NOT just VR content. It's called Phonecast VR.

Phonecast aside I STILL prefer the Daydream View. What about you?

@pkcable Maybe this one should have been on AC? *wink*

Seriously, I'm more in love with Gear VR. Oculus is keeping the experience concise and most games are well built and run smoothly.

I've not yet used Daydream but I really like my GearVR as an introductory/portable VR Solution it's really good. I was also surprised that scratches on the screen really don't affect the image quality much. I was really disappointed after my phone fell out of my car on to the concrete but it still looks great in the GearVR.
