I'm curious to see if my app will run on windows 10. I'm sure other developers are curious as well.

I simply have no time or resources to try out 10.

So, I'll start. Other developers can use this thread to ask 10 testers to try out their apps from the store, too.

Can someone please try my app at the following link to see if it runs on 10 ok? Just install the free trial.

The windows store says that I need windows 8.1 to be able to install, and you should also not charge 10 bucks for people to try and see ic this works on windows 10. So to answer your question no hour program will not run on windows 10

I said install the trial. Trial = free. I said so in the OP.

I was told that windows 10 could run windows 8.1 apps. Looks like the person was wrong. I guess I'll have to update for compatibility, then.

    Thanks for the info.

Your program appears to run just fine on my install of Win10. Installed it from the Windows Store without any issues from the "Try" button. I'll continue to play with it here and there for a few more days until the trial runs out and report back here if I find anything wrong.

^^Thank you thank you thank you

    Let's hope no compatibility issues

    Added by edit.

Oh yeah, can you swipe down from top edge to see if the title bar and menu buttons will hide? Swipe again to bring them back.

On keyboard, it's windows button + Z. With a mouse, you move mouse all the way to top edge and right click.

    Edit again.

By the way, I have complete control over the trial. I can refresh, extend, or do whatever I want. This is only possible in my app. If you want more time, I can either refresh your trial or make it 30 days or 100 days or however long.

No touchscreen on this laptop, but Win+Z buttons do cause the "File, paragraph, text, etc." bar at the top to toggle on/off.

installed on my HP Elitepad 900 tablet (dual core Intel Atom) with 32 bit Win 10 Enterprise just fine. Swiping down didn't make tabs disappear, it just resized the window. Won't have much time this next week to play with it, but would definitely like to play with the speech recognition and some of the other features! Win 10 does have files for Cortana, but not turned on, so you may be able to leverage Cortana for voice in the future; particularly multi-lingual.
