Is it possible to install W10 build using USB on my ASUS VIVOTAB 8? (only has micro USB port)

Question is in the title. :) I have an ASUS Vivotab 8" tablet, but unfortunately build 10581 was so incompatible with this tablet (the known bug of scaling issues on 8 inch tablets) that I had to reset my tablet. Going through the installation procedure, I get stuck on selecting your preferences (home country etc) as the screen becomes unresponsive to touch (also, the screen looks skewed).

I am looking for a way to revert back to build 10240 for the time being, and I wonder if it's possible to attach a usb-drive to the tablet through my micro-usb connection and install from there?

I have a Vivotab Smart (10" version). You can use the micro-USB port as a full size USB port with an adapter. It's called USB OTG (On-The-Go). Just search for a USB OTG adapter. They can be had for very cheap.
