well, it was only stuck on older firmware by T-Mo, it could still receive the OS end of updates via the Preview for Devs program.

This is a joke, Microsoft 1st demoed the Technical Preview on a 1520 and when they release the 1st TP Build, 1520 (with many others) is missing due to Partition Stiching. They 2nd demoed using a 930 and now 930 is missing from the list of phones to make it into the 2nd TP Build due to Unique Bug.

Would be nice if they can squeeze the 930 in at the last minute, but I have a 625 to test it on and if my wife's cousin still isn't using my 925, then I'll get that back and test on that as well.

Still, the list is a huge boost compared to the last list of supported phones.... Despite my 930 missing the list.

Would like to know specifically what the bug is, as last I heard the Icon and 930 are almost identical.

I'll also check if my wife wants to try 10 on her 1320.

A demo does not equal happy-with-shipping code.
Take Halo 1's announcement at Macworld a while ago. Sure its a fancy demo and all, but it had a demo-breaking bug that could've wrecked if it reared its head.

Could be some random gremlin, since the radio hardware is different.

Shame about the 930, I'd like to try 10 out. But still, I'm not sure if having the tech preview on my main phone is a terribly good idea.
