Thoughts on new messaging?

I absolutely hate the UI, with the photos of the contacts at the left. Most of my contacts don't have photos, so their just ugly grey circles! What are your guys thoughts?

I like having the photos. Now if only MS could action the YEARS old request to, you know, allow contact pictures in Outlook.com.

I'm linked with facebook, so all of my contacts have up-to-date pictures. I DO like the idea of having squares instead of circles to keep with the windows UI look, though.

It's more about people who don't have facebook accounts - there's no way to add any picture.

Sure there is. Find the contact in People, tap edit, tap the circle, select a photo.
