Lumia 1020 won't power on once powered off

Yesterday I updated my 1020 with the "fast" option. The phone turns on fine the first time it boots. But if it powers off (screen timeout or pressing the power button) it won't turn back on again, either with the power button or double tapping the screen. Calling it won't power it on either (I can tell it's receiving the call because it doesn't go right to voicemail). It also won't power on plugging in the power cord. The only recourse is to power/volume down to reboot. Any one else seeing this? Any ideas?

Try a Hard Reset (wipes all your data) like recommended in many other threads. This fixes a lot of problems on a lot of installations.

Use the Nokia Recovery Tool and go back to WP8.1. It'll wipe your data, but you'll be able to use your phone again.

If you really want to try W10 then give the hard reset a chance before reverting back to 8.1
