I should have asked in detail. Now in windows phone 8.1 , gif images doesn't animate, I'm using gif viewer app . So, in windows phone 10 , are gif images supported natively in photos hub. Thank you.

I don't know, but I thought GIFs would be opened in IE anyway.

In the new build Daniel said that gifs were supported in the photo hub but I can't get them to work in mine. Not sure what I'm doing wrong

Make sure you update the photo app from the store beta - that should do it for you. Otherwise, try saving a gif from Edge and then try to view it
