    A hard reset restores everything to factory defaults. Including the keyboard settings. You will lose all data and everything you put on the phone. It is possible to restore the data through a backup, but I doubt a backup will include your languages.
    The battery life is just a matter of poor optimization in a technical preview. A hard reset probably won't help much on that front. Optimization will come with time.
