URGENT HELP!! Windows Phone 10 - PIN issue!!

Yesterday I installed WP10 Insider Preview build 10149.
I was going to install the update but I fell asleep and it updated automatically at 3AM.
I was gonna remove the PIN but couldn't as stated above.
Now I am facing the PIN issue.
I kept it untouched for an hour but it still didn't work.
This is my primary phone and I need it urgently.
Please answer my questions successively:
1. Have you encountered the issue? How did you get out of it?
2. Will a hard reset work or do I have to use WPRT?

PLEASE HELP!! I ****ed up this time. I won't do it again!!

Are you sure? Did you do the same?
The bug list by MS states that if we power off it will require us to reflash!

I waited for 3 hours and the issue still wasn't solved. I got frustrated and restarted the phone. It solved the issue on my 1520. Not saying it will work for you, but it did for me. Good luck

I had the same issue with my L830 & doing hard reset gave me a BSOD so had to reflash it to 8.1 n then back to 10149. I guess there is no point in waiting for it go get resolved by restart. Hope that this issue is resolved in 10166..

Now I have solved the issue myself.
I kept it untouched for 2 hours. Then I entered the PIN. Still didn't work. Then I restarted the phone. Works good now. Although the build is bad as ****. All the SD card apps are shown as unavailable.

open action centre...tap all settings...
this will force the pin bar to come..
enter the pin..phone will be unlocked..
worked for me..
you can turn off pin lock in sign in setting

Hey so this issue happened to me again and restarting didn't work this time.

But what did work was locking my phone remotely with the find my phone feature. Once I did that my phone restarted and I put in the new lock code and the phone unlocked with no issue.

Just wanted to post this just in case this issue comes up again for anyone else.
