What is the latest build for Windows 10 technical preview on my Lumia 520?

Hi. I'm getting this update on my Lumia 520 - 10.0.12648.133. Is this the latest build? Is it safe to install it on Lumia 520? My phone is currently running on wp8.1 and I want to install technical preview. But I want to be sure that it won't damage or brick my phone. If anyone has tried it,kindly help.

No it is not the latest one but you shouldn't worry about, it happened to me on one of my devices, I got it and than search for the update again and then get the latest one, so my suggestion is to update it to 10.0.12648.133 and than once it is finished update it to the latest one...

Have you opt. for fast ring?
If yes, then you definetly get build 10166 (newest)

Nope, not always, even if you are on fast ring sometimes it first offers 10.0.12648.133 and than the latest build, there is no way to get it directly, I tried everything on my 820, hard reset, reinstall insider app but it always first offers 10.0.12648.133 and than after update to that build it offers the latest one...

I have installed it on my Lumia 520. Its pretty stable. Can be used as a primary OS.

is it working alright? i saw some articles in which it was written that lumia 520 is getting bricked and unusable. that is worrying me as this is my only phone.

Dont install it. Windows 10 for phone its not stable and not good with your primary phone.I had installed yesterday and got in problem. My start screen doesn't appear for 15 to 20 minutes and then store doesn't open for some time. It's full of crap. Installed windows recovery tool to go back to windows 8.1 but it seems unable to go because it ask for 1.50 Gb for latest build and I am having 512 kbps speed and every after 10 or 15 mb it ask connection lost. Man I am stuck. Now in just 2 or 3 days going to shop where purchased might they help me. Nokia care said they cant update your phone, as they dont have wifi.

yeah...connection do get lost while downloading..but hitting retry button resumes it....

Wrong.. I got the latest build 10166 from 8.1

I have build 10166 running on my 520 now. It's a little slow, but it works as my daily phone.
I updated from 8.1 to WP10 build 10166, do a hard reset after install and do not restore settings from backup.
Some saved settings do not work with WP10. I have been running it for 2 days, it did a lot of app updates last night.
New store is very slow.
