Windows phone Recovery Tool Error

So i decided to update my phone to windows 10166 after that i resetted my lumia 730 and ended up with an a frowny face but then the windows recovery tool detected my device but wasnt able to connect to the remote server

This may be a server problem which could be temporary or a to slow wifi. So try later again and/or try a different (faster) wifi.

I had this problem as well. I finally just left it at the stuck screen for about 15 minutes and it finally came to life. Makes me think something is going on in the background but don't know that for sure. Give it a few minutes and see what happens.
