Why does Skype on my Windows 10 mobile zoom in the video while video calling?

skype on windows 10 mobile zooms in the video while video calling.

the skype on windows 10 for phones shows the zoomed-in video of the person am calling.Can't see them properly ,only a portion of their face.
I tried calling the same person on my desktop but no issues there.
