Phone icon missing from Start screen

Just upgraded to 10512 & have lost the phone icon from my start screen. Can access it from full apps list but 'Pin to start' option is greyed out. Anyone else experiencing similar and/or got any solution?

It's greyed out when already pinned to Start. I don't think you are stupid but please check twice that it's not on your Start screen.

Also try restarting your phone.

Thanks maya77, valid point & first thing to check but already done. There's an empty space where it used to be before the update & cannot see it anywhere (inc. in any folders). Also restarted & soft reset phone, only hard reset left but am trying to hold off on that as long as poss.

Perhaps hold down on the blank area that it used to be at. Maybe it will allow you to unpin the "invisible" phone icon and then you'll be able to re-pin it to the start screen.

Definitely not there as removed every icon to start afresh but admitted defeat & hard reset phone. All now back to normal & actually, everything running a lot better.
