    R u currently logged in to your device?
    If u r planning to use a new MS account, do a hard reset.

    Of course thats what hard reset is all about. If u want to then go to settings, system, about, scroll down u will see reset button tap that. And no, you dont need the computer to reset. If u
    Reset, everything will be set to factory defaults. It will still be WM10. But all your data will be erased. So u might want to move your pics, music, video etc to the computer.
