Build 10536 server error?

Currently on a 640 (8.10.15148.160) just installed windows insider and after taping on "Get preview builds" I get Server Error

A connection error prevented us from downloading programs for you. Please check the date/time of your device and its network connection and try again.

I've checked date/time and network (currently on wifi, sim card installed, AT&T) and I still get this error msg. I even reset the phone reinstalled app and the problem still persists.

Any ideas? Is Microsoft windows 10 insider server really down? Anybody else have any issues?

Some server issues I assume. I remember the latest 10 preview blocks you from changing rings temporarily.

Me too I tried to install build 10166 on Lumia 635 than failed for insufficient space on SD card so I removed it while the phone had more than 1.5gb but the update wouldn't install anymore so I ignored It despite multiple notifications of the update ready to download for 2weeks so when 10536 came out i had to hard reset the phone (can't roll in insider because update ready to 10166) after than I couldn't also roll in for date/time connection issue as like I am considers by the server running the new build with this bug while my brother with l640 hadn't. Got any problem.
So please any help?

I was facing this issue, so annoying.
I tried reseting the phone but only worked when I reinstalled 8.1 using the Recovery Tool.
Doing that, I could update to build 10536.

Yep, that did it! Had to use the windows phone recovery tool to re-install 8.10.15148 on my 640 (remember, already had 8.10 on it). Evidently something wasn't getting set properly by just doing a factory reset via the phone only. Must use recovery tool to ensure true reset. But, it fixed the original issue above and I was able to move forward with win10 install.

having the same problem with same phone, lets try windows recovery tool and then intall the insider preview
