This might be old, this is the second build I have installed on my 920 however I've not see this mentioned in the forums.

This is listed under the "certificates" app in the mobile store whereas if you do a search for the "certificates" app on the desktop you get this:

This of course could be due to the fact certain tablets will run the phone o/s and there have been obvious rumours a intel based phone is coming next year.

Personally I see no use for running Win32 code natively on the phone, running off a dock makes more sense to me; as it would enable better cooling and would allow for a beefier CPU or APU. Where as on a phone there are going to be a lot of restrictions predominately being heat dissipation and power budget. If the phone lasts a mere 12 hours it will not work, it needs to last much more than that and not too mention have Global GSM radio support (4G LTE) built-into the SOC otherwise you're looking at a standalone chip (more heat and more power drain). Not to mention it won't be cheap either.

The only reason an intel based phone would be of interest (again to me personally) is the incorporation of the realsense camera and windows hello.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Are we going to see a x64 based phone with 4 gigs of ram?

The reason you see the x86/x64 architecture is because of the store being an universal app for W10 (x86/x64) and WM10 (ARM).

And to answer your last question:

4GB RAM + 64-bit ARM CPU + WP + Real Sense Camera? Yes that's definitely possible.
< 4GB RAM + 64-bit ARM CPU + WP? WPs already exist with that configuration
4GB RAM + x64/x86 CPU + WP? Possible but doesn't make sense till MS releases a hybrid W10/WM10 OS or ARM apps run on emulation (performance gain but at the cost of what?)

Fair point about the store just didn't notice it before lol.

    1) I think so as well.
    2) I see, care to give examples?
    3) Well they could probably emulate pretty well given they have managed to get xbox one to emulate the x360 which runs on PowerPC. But of course without knowing the technical specifics it is really hard to gauge.

I'm aware of this model but it has:

    however you mentioned:

To which I asked for examples, hoping you'd on earthed some unicorn model

Just to end of a lighter note, check out this discrepancy LOL!

Edit: Just noticed the neutral entry, I don't recall seeing this.. or updating the store on the desktop as auto updates are turned off.
