Running it on my 735 with Cortana pinned and all location services turned on. At 9 I took it off charger and now at 2:20 at 95%. with light use. Yesterday with moderate use at 5 I was down to 84% Cant tell yet what heavy use is yet.

On my lumia 920, heavy-heavy use lasted 3 hours, 100% to 6%. With 10536, it would be around 30%. With 8.1 it would be around 50%. So, I'm not sure they tweaked the battery setting too much.

I posted this in another thread. But I'm honestly experiencing similar battery life. The battery life on my Icon with this build is on the same level, if not better, than it was on WP8.1.

Had an hour long phone call, and battery went from 100% to 94%. Which is pretty dang good. Messaging and Edge are still pretty power intensive. But the battery drainage is way more manageable than it was on the previous build.

Mine was not so great on my Icon. Of charge at 5am and had minimal use besides taking about 6 pictures while on the lake and it was dead as a for nail by about 7pm. At one point I was losing 10% an hour. I was in a bass boat but surrounded by perfect LTE signal. I may try again when I get a day or so off.

Did you hard reset after installing the build? What tweaks did you make?

Been using GPS with my 640XL all day and BT music in car, it's about 55-60%. Not bad. Old Moto X Android phone dies within 20 minutes if GPS navigation is on. And gets very warm.

So far on my L925 it almost seems to have gotten worse

To me the TP is a failure. Taking way too long, and every week matters in the smart phone wars. Back to 8.1, where at least most things work.

Battery life is same on 1520 but it does get warm . Think MS doesn't get it every build has do many issues .
Don't know how they will release it in 2 months ..

Hi guys, can you recommend any good battery usage monitoring app. One that gives graphs and discharge/charge rates fairly accurately but doesn't drain the battery while doing so and has no ads. The one I had doesn't work well with wm10

For some reason my battery has dropped considerably on 10549. Ever since I installed the new build my battery drops from 100% to 15% in about 2 and a half hours with minimal usage and web browsing. I've tried to hard reset twice with no luck.

I think this is very much app dependent. Take a look at what apps consume when running in the background, and it might show you where your battery life is going. For example the new Microsoft Health app (for us band users) is a PIG and when left running in the back ground it will kill your phone rather quickly.

I have a band and use the health app but I don't remember seeing high battery usage from it in the list.I couldn't pick out a single app that was causing the drain

Mine's horrible. I've got a 1520 and my battery usually lasts 18+ hours but on this new build it last only 3-4 hours, the worst part is my charging speed which is about 15% an hour

Less than 24hrs in on a Lumia 1020. SOOOOO MUCH SMOOTHER!!! BUT, big butt, battery life is still pathetic. Maybe going to get 10hrs without even touching it. My process: Backup > wipe back to 8.1 > sign in, download insider > update mumbo jumbo > wipe to clean 10549 > restore from backup.

Now, before someone chimes in, AT THIS POINT WE NEED TO BE RUNNING AS IF ITS A USABLE BUILD. If all we do is run a clean OS, whats the point? MS needs to know what the issues are. But alas, many here just want to be on the bleeding edge, with no knowledge of the process. Then complain when it isnt running like a finished product. I wonder how many actually use the feedback feature? LMBO
