yep, hard reset did nothing...

install project my screen on a pc that has never had wdrt installed - it will work there

Did you get it working on USB 3.0 ? I haven't tried removing WDRT, but currently Project My Screen only works with my phone with a USB 2.0 port. Maybe WDRT messes only with USB 3.0 stuff :0

This is true even in 2018. I wonder if there's a way to undo some registry change that WDRT imposes, that will preclude having to do a reset?
