I've submitted this as feedback, but I couldn't find any similar suggestions. I've only been using the technical preview for about a week, but I have an issue with linked contacts.
The People app is sorting linked contacts by their Skype username if I do not have their personal information saved in my Outlook contacts. These Skype names for many users are custom handles that have nothing to do with the person's name and are not easily recognizable.
All of my Skype contacts are also my Facebook friends. In Windows Phone 7 and 8.x, I never had any issues with linked contacts because they were first sorted by the full name pulled from Facebook. I can't find it, but does anyone know of a way to prioritize which account is used for the name of linked contacts?
Some of these Skype contacts are also linked with Microsoft Messaging, which appears to use full names like Facebook, but the Skype handles are still given sorting priority over the Microsoft Messaging name.
