Anyone been able to connect Sphero's BB-8 Droid to an insider phone ?

Using a 920 DP with cyan. I can't get the phone app to connect to the BB-8. Need Bluetooth LE to connect to the BB-8 droid.

You should have gotten Bluetooth LE support with the Cyan firmware upgrade, so it should work.

But when you say you have a 920 DP with Cyan, are you saying that you got the WP8.1 through the Developer Preview? If so, that does not come with the Cyan firmware. (And there is a bug in the Extras+Info app that will report the wrong firmware level when you are on the Developer Preview.)

I would check you actual firmware version to see if you have actually gotten the Cyan firmware.

The phone is AT&T and it has the cyan update. From there I went to DP to get the OS high enough to go to the insider and get 10. The firmware version is given in system, about and it is still the same as before, 3051.50009.1425.2001.
The phone has no problems on 10586.29.
I don't know where the problem is. I will contact Sphero next week to see if they have any suggestions.

Used a friends 830 on the insider. The app connects and works.
