Screen scaling and battery?

Simple question: Does screen scaling (from 200recommended to 175% for example) do any harm to battery consuption?
I did try to shift it but i can't find evidence that show my battery consuption is higher or not. Even with all disabled in background my background battery go about 12% and ,,battery'' app show between 5-8% drain per hour. On 8.1 that was slighty over 2%

I don't think it makes any significant difference. Just use whichever option is comfortable for you.

Logout Skype, new app Messaging + Skype is the first culprit for battery drain. Not screen

I did that first thing after hardresrt, still problem is there.
