How can I download offline maps manually using a downloader like idm?

I've been tryinhg to download offline maps but the download progress is extremely slow.
I only have a ,limited time with wifi, 3 hours at most and the speed is 15Mbps (1.75MBps). I can easily download a video in seconds but offline maps of the same size are taking too long such that the map can't finhish downloading by the time I leave the cafe

How can I download the maps but using something like idm?

I believe you cannot.

The maps download extremely slow, but it works in background. One hour should be sufficient for the bigger maps (500 MB or such).

well, slow can be relative and when you are under pressure...for example, I had only 2 hours of wifi today, 15Mbps, and the OS update didn't go past 45%: this was from 14393.82 to 14393.103, a pretty small update.
