Experience on 1520: It's fast (faster than 10586.164) and usable with minor UI glitches. This is my daily driver.

Experience on 640: It's alright, slower than 10586.164 but usable. I see the UI stuttering overall. This is not my daily driver, I included this experience because you might be using a 640 based on you other posts.

I am, thanks :)

I'm still trying to figure out which build to use.

Yeah I can't download the voice language packs. Haven't found a workaround for that yet.

Good:
1. Battery is more stable on Redstone, even though in the first 3 days it depletes itself in a manner of hours.
2. Not so obvious but still present, double fake track switching in lockscreen for Groove Music. In comparison to .164 is way better
3. The app list now has the subtle darker background effect even when returning from apps.
4. Smoother actions, scrolling, typing long messages.

Bad:
1. Live tiles of Cortana/Outlook Mail don't update themselves. The other apps do work properly.
2. Losing GSM signal from time to time.
3. Hey Cortana seems to work in rare occasions.
4. Some apps are closing down without any particular usage, soft reset usually fixes this.
5. Flickering in video when using audio controls

Note: For Redstone to not murder your phone you must turn off or switch to basic the telemetry of Windows Mobile (from Privacy settings)

At this moment the best way to go is .164 and newest firmware, Preview Redstone builds are not very stable, compatible and battery efficient.
I am myself on Redstone at the moment, but can not wait to change, if the newest Preview build will not be promising, I will go to .164 or hopefully to a new live build .200+

I do, on my 950XL.

Admittedly though it has good battery performance some days and can drain in a few hours in others. This is something I am becoming used to.

I am using 14295 on my 1520.3. It's rough going, too rough for a daily driver. Mainly, I must stay plugged into electric power (a battery actually) or it crashes. Also, I had to hard reset because the WiFi became unusable, very difficult to connect and never remembered passwords. The hard reset fixed all that, for now anyway.

I'm going to see how 14322 works. It's supposed to be out in a couple of days. But if it's not a lot better than 14295, I'm going to roll back to 10586.

It's interesting (and good) to see others having fewer problems than me.

Yup, using insider fast on my 950 XL and also on my SP3, did it on my old 930 to until I managed to crack the screen. No major issues that can not be solved by a hard reset or so. :)
