App updates

We all know by now that many of the Windows phones will go no further than pre Redstone for WP10 updates, but can anyone enlighten me as to how this will affect app updates.

Will updates of the WP10 core apps, camera etc. also stop?

Unconnected, but can anyone tell me how a L925 with WP10 compares to a L650 with WP10? thinking of upgrading.

Redstone will be available for the same phones that got W10M officially. Redstone is not available for those phones that could not upgrade officially. So your current phone on threshold will continue getting app updates when you update to redstone

Sorry, maybe didn't make myself clear, I was referring to phones that are on WP10 but can not move to Redstone.

In my case L925 with WP10 through insider app, will it continue with app updates, or will they stop updating when Redstone is released?

I own a 650, It's a nice mid level phone, a little 212 snapdragon that doubled Lumia 640 and drains battery the half, 5" OLED ,Gorilla Glass 3, Great 8 Mpx camera but no stabilization, great frontal 5 Mpx grandangle camera, SD card support up to 256 GB, NFC, but not Compass

It a lower level than a 925, surely, but if you can find it a 150 € or via carrier per montly fee, that's a nice choice

In this case, we don't know really. The question we could ask is those pcs that are on 10240 build, are they still getting app updates the same as those on 10586? if yes, then we can extrapolate the same case to mobile. If no, well, we can only hope
