Windows 10 build 14332 now available for Fast ring Insiders on PC and Mobile | Windows Central

[NOTE]Tip: Check out this thread before posting
    http://forums.windowscentral.com/win...ml#post3467172[/NOTE]
Is your device behaving oddly, is something just not right? This is the place for discussion of software and hardware issues!
    [TIP]
Here is some useful information you may find yourself needing.
Some issues with responsiveness and app delays can be resolved by either restarting your phone or performing a Soft Reset.

If things get a bit more serious, you may opt to perform a hard reset or software reset.

Lastly, if things really get serious, you may need the Software Recovery Tool to recover your phone back to working order - head over to the Microsoft FAQ Page for more information.

Make sure you check the official Windows 10 Mobile Support Page as well for some of the most common tips and trouble shooting guides.
    [/TIP]
    [INFO]
Restarting your phone involves turning it off and then turning it on again. Turn off your phone by pressing the power button until you are prompted to "Slide down to power off". Turn your phone on again by pressing the power button until it vibrates.

A soft reset is similar to pressing the reset button in PCs and has the same effect as pulling out the battery of your phone and then putting it back in. For phones with non-removable batteries, press the volume down and power button together until your phone restarts. Be aware that when using Windows 10, the voume down and power button combination will also launch Windows Feedback. Just continue to hold down the buttons for a full 10 seconds in order to trigger the soft reset. For phones with removable batteries, you can either opt for the button combination or remove the battery and then return it.

A hard reset or a software reset will reformat your phone by removing all the user information leaving only the bare OS and firmware currently installed in your phone. It does erase data so you should always keep a good backup of your phone just in case you have to resort to this option.

The software reset can be done by going to your phone Settings > System > About > tap on "Reset your phone." You will be prompted once before doing this just to be sure. Be sure, also, to have everything backed up since there would be no way to recover all of your files.

The hard reset accomplishes the same thing as the software reset, but can be accomplished when the phone is non-responsive and you are unable to enter into settings. To perform the Hard Reset, "Power off the phone > hold Volume Down > press Power > keep holding Volume Down until you see the exclamation (!) screen, then immediately release the Volume Down. Now tap Volume Up / Volume Down / Power / Volume Down. You should see the spinning gears and your phone will reflash the last OS version held in recovery.

The Software Recovery Tool is the final option, for example for "bricked" phones that would no longer turn on, be charged, etc. This can be used to either roll back to a previous OS version or force an update to a more current OS version
    [/INFO]
Remember, when reporting bugs be descriptive! The more information you give, the better the chance someone will be able to help you.

What OS version? Any special conditions that should be noted? What were you doing? What is the result? Any error codes or messages given? What have you tried for solutions? What variant of the phone are you using? Single SIM or Dual SIM?

Please describe as much as possible about the bug so others may try and replicate the bug and don't make suggestions for solutions that you have already tried which have failed.
    [INFO]
When reporting bugs/issues, please also use the Windows Feedback app to report issues directly to Microsoft. Microsoft don't actively read forums looking for people reporting issues when they have a data collection system built right into the operating system. They use WF to analyse numbers and prioritise fixes (issues with more reports, get sorted quicker).

"You can use the Windows Feedback app to tell us which features you love about your Lumia with Windows 10, or when something could be better.
1.To launch the app, swipe over to the App list, and then select Windows Feedback.
2.See if someone else has given similar feedback by entering the topic, such as Microsoft OneDrive.
3.If you find similar feedback, tap the Upvote or tap on the feedback to open it, write the problem details to Add details-field and tap Send.
4.To narrow your search to a specific topic, you can filter the results by picking the category that matches your feedback the closest. For example, for feedback about the Microsoft OneDrive, select Apps and Games > OneDrive.
5.If you dont find any similar feedback, tap + to add new feedback. Select the correct category and subcategory from the dropdown-list.
6.Enter your feedback (the more details the better!), add a screenshot if you can, and tap Send.
7.Your feedback will automatically upload when you are charging your phone and connected to Wi-Fi, but you can also upload the feedback manually by tapping > Upload feedback data."

So far the only big problem I'm seeing, introduced in 14328 and unfixed in 14332, is that Cortana no longer reads text messages. All other Cortana features work but that.

On the plus side, 14332 is the very first update in my entire W10M experience where I *didn't* have to remove all my Mail account shortcuts & notifications and regenerate in order to get per-Account notifications working again.

1.In brightness toggle in action centre, the is no 'automatic' option
    2. No sunlight readability
    3. If you uninstalled and then, reinstalled the ' gadget' app, can't complete the installation by restarting the phone. The phone doesn't get restarted even after clicking the option..

Same issue here. Another thing is that after a couple of soft-resetting the phone, I noticed some quirkiness happening, like the SMS icon in the notification centre became WAY TOOO BIG.

Sometimes whatsapp doesn't even open :v

Fitbit app cannot sync with Charge HR tracker after 14332. The tracker pairs fine with the phone in Bluetooth settings but the app does not find it. Tried re-pairing the tracker with Bluetooth, no change. Tracker itself syncs fine when I try with my iPhone 5s.

Still can't type some letters in url-field/search-field of Edge. W, A and Y won't work, can type it in normal text fields in edge (for example, typing on forums, or searching on google)

This. The SMS Icon is ginormous. Dug around in the settings and cant find anything, anywhere. But looks like it was on purpose. I unlocked an achievement and it displayed the achievement art in a box the same size at the SMS icon. Maybe it was supposed to be the contact's photo? I don't know...its odd and looks out of place.

    Major Photos bug still present

It's funny that i've never seen anyone complain about the photos app bug. I submitted feedback about it too but never even got one upvote

    Open Photos App
    Go to "Albums"
    Select any album there
    Open a picture, any picture.
    Hit the back button .
Look at the bottom right hand corner - The "Select" option is gone.

This does not happen in collection view or in folders.. Only in albums.

    950XL DS (1/2), US:

    - Netflix, and Rawer started working this morning (neither worked w/ 14328)

    - Impossible to see screen in the Sunlight.

    - "Hey Cortana" will activate her page but, but no reaction to a voice request; still have to type in a search.

I am using this phone as my Daily Driver, and feel comfortable doing so with this build. But I still feel neglected because I very rarely see Windows Phone listed on any advertised ads Apps...I'm thinking maybe it is time to start showing our displeasure at big companies making apps that are blatantly discriminating against Windows Phone (if you can make it for them, you should include us....PERIOD!) I mean developers' efforts are one thing (an individuals right), but the marketplace is another; we are being omitted, and someone needs to explain that that IS a form of discrimination.

I love my Windows Phone, I am not changing and F#@K you if you don't want my business; but Business should still not be allowed to discriminate, especially again the people that help make the computer business possible! SHOW SOME RESPECT!

For me at least I've noticed that the phone unlocks quicker sometimes. I always had this delay stuck on the pin screen after entering the last digit of my pin.

For those who have Cortana working, did you do a hard reset after installing this build?
Cortana does not work for me, and apparently for a lot of people. I was wondering if a hard reset right before or after upgrading makes Cortana work.

    I've noticed 2 things:

Skype notifications, no toast notification, action center or glace screen. Even the tile doesn't show a # of missed messages. Seems to be similar to Whatsapp behaviour mentioned here. Skype does sync the messages when opened however.

Quiet Hours last night didn't turn on automatically as I received an alert at like 3am that woke me up.

The big icons are a feature I think that was requested by users. Whatsapp doesn't fail me, just no banners. So far this build seems "snappier"
Using a 535. Cant believe its a 1gb ram device.
Why not include the 1020 as a compatible device?

Only issue I'm seeing is that the messaging app on one of my PCs says there is no phone available while the other two are still working (except of course for the issue with syncing old messages). I upgraded all of them to 14322 around the same time.

Edit: this was yesterday, I just checked this morning and it's started working again, and it just synced a bunch of messages that only existed on my phone.

What device are you using? There is a workaround (at least for the 535).
Turn auto update apps off. Do not update lumia camera. Use this as the default camera app. If you have updated lumia camera, you'll need to hard reset. (power off completely. Press and hold vol down. Press and hold power while still holding volume down. When the phone vibrates keep holding volume down but release power. You should see an exclamation mark"!" on screen.
Press this sequence very quickly. Vol down vol up power vol down. The phone should reboot and the gears appear.)
On completion of that, go to store and turn auto update off. Do not update lumia camera and set it as default camera. Flash should be auto and work.
