Can confirm that the battery life problem has been fixed on my Lumia 930 after installing build 1004.
I also checked the running processes and it is idling now with about 88% unused CPU resources.
Before 1004 there was a continuous load of about 60-70% CPU (svchost.exe).

Has anyone else noticed that the Messaging app no longer does Skype integration? Or is it just my phone somehow? I really love that feature ...

I've gone through a phone reset on 14332 and just upgraded to this version 14342.1004 and I am still not able to integrate Skype. :crying:

What's the problem? People always complainin about "the app gap", but you got 3rd party alternatives as Android an iOs. That's the normal way

This is the case where Microsoft create their own app gap by removing an app that works well. But really, I think the removal might be requested from the mobile carriers.

Anyone know why my lockscreen is taking up so much of CPU with the latest build, in the earlier build 1002 and 1003 it was "Start" that was taking up CPU. My Lockscreen image has been the same from 8.1.

On the BLU WIN HD LTE I was able to get the 14342.1001 build but I can't update to 14342.1003 or 14342.1004

Anyone else having this issue?

Okay, just confirmed that it works for Messaging but not for Whatsapp. Kinda strange.

I have a L830 only been on Redstone fast since wednesay .003 and now .004
my phone now takes forever to charge it used to fully charge in about 3 hours or so on 10586
now on redstone it charge all day and it only charges about 50%
is this normal for redstone

Try unpin and re-pin Whatsapp in lockscreen option

Let it stabylize a couple of days, is it hot on back? If yes, do a soft reset.
Then Check Battery app use in Settings

It told me I needed a restart, so I did it after I got home from work. I think my 950xl just died. It powered off after the restart, and now when I try to turn it on, it shows the Microsoft screen, then the logo, then shuts down.
Will the recovery tool work if the phone won't power up?

I was on Slow ring with 14332, decided to update to fast ring and download 14342.1004

strange thing is its taking forever to download 14342.1004 and it touches to 2% downloading and gets stuck.
Also I did not have the Windows Insider App, when i tried to install it from the store i could'nt install it.
Now i am not able to install any app from the store.

Downloading updates is stuck. Phone getting hot and draining battery.

I now feel i was better on the slow ring

Insider now is embedded in o.s. settings.
Do a soft reset and retry, till updates will be not all closed phone will be hot and drain

trying soft resetting multiple times and even tried removing the battery.
if i select download updates, downloading starts even if my Internet is not active.
