Can't connect to internet when joining insider preview.

I have opted out to insider preview in the past and now I decided to rejoin the fast ring. I have normal connection when using edge and other apps but when I click the Get Started button in the insider menu under settings, I am being prompted that I do not have an internet connection.

Have you tried uninstalling the Insider app?

I meant to add uninstalling and then reinstalling the Insider app...

It's a Lumia 830. I can't uninstall the insider app since it is already embedded to the settings app.

I've not seen this error before.
Have you tried a soft reset?

you should be able to uninstall it -it's in apps list

No. In redstone, insider settings are in the settings app.

I am curious, did you resolve this? I am seeing the same problem.

I've reset my phone today with WDRT to get a firmware update and I'm now getting this error trying to get back into the Insider Preview. All these stupid little niggles with WM is starting to get a little bit boring

I had the same problem. I have done a hard using the hardware buttons because from "Settings *> about > reset your phone" didn't work. Now is OK.

Same here. I tried it yesterday and it just worked

Yeah, mine started working on its own too. Looks like it was a temporary server problem.
