I was on .351, Slow Ring, could not update, so I followed the advice to quit the Insider Program, restarted, checked for update, and was updated to .448.

This worked for me. Rocking .448 now. Thanks.

outlook calander live tile still dead, not updating, updated only when re-size the tile.

Below is the Glance Screen settings on my 830 running Release Preview .448, the problem is, the settings only display for a couple of seconds then the screen goes blank (as shown in 2nd photo). Just me or is this something common with this build?

Then there's the All Mighty Edge Browser, totally unimpressed with it in more ways than one. Being slow is one thing as I expect that on my 830 to a degree but not being able to render sites properly is totally unacceptable, never had an ounce of problems on any other device with these "well known" Canadian sites so not sure what is going on. If memory serves me right these issue were present a couple of builds back, rectified and now back again!!!

The comment section from one of the site I frequent, the text gradually get larger and larger the further down you go then it ends up displaying as shown below, and no, it's not my settings as it starts out normal but gradually increases the further down you go...

That's only a smidgen of my problems and thankfully battery issues aren't one of them, then again the latter don't really matter when the phone in its present state isn't capable of anything more than being used as a test bed.

Same here. With anniversary update during stand by hours the battery drained at 1.5% or less per hour. While on the latest public update the battery drains in same conditions at 6.3% per hour.

Avg battery discharged rate per hour is 8%....
And Speed per hour : 5%

finally got my Icon to take the update. I had to fully exit the Insider program to get it to pull the update.

Might have to pick up another Icon to just have the inside program on and start playing around with RS2 on that.

hoping the battery drain calms down after a couple of days of being on it. Will run my usual all day test on Thursday and report back differences I see between last build and this one.

I have a att 1520 new build updated my FB app. I can no longer share news articles to FB under share. FB is not an option. This might have to do more with the app that build.

So i have an odd problem with this last update, battery saver does nothig, like nothing at all. Usually when you turn it on notifications stop and the brightness goes down, now nothing happens, notifications keep coming. Lumia 950, tried even a hard reset. Any ideas?

I'm having horrific battery issues since this update. Yesterday I got 2h47mins from 100% to 0%.

Today is a bit better but still not getting more than 12 hours. Have disabled all non essential background apps but still no good.

Any advice? (want to try to avoid a hard reset)

Maybe hard reset works.

But

If you were upgrade from 8.1 then Do rollback using WDRT and then upgrade to w10m again.
(I had used this method and on non insider build)

Lumia 950 so not an upgrade form 8.1

This is typical Behavior for the 950 series.

This is typical Behavior for the 950 series.

Completely disagree with this. Up to the second last update was getting 24/26 hours of battery life with the exact same usage. If a device is getting 2? hours out of a full charge there is a serious issue.

Anyone else experiencing regular freezing and non-responsiveness?

Have hard reset and started fresh and seems to have gotten worse. Apps taking forever to load and then just not loading.
Phone not responding to the power button.
Frost Free (Yr.No) not working now - cannot connect to the search service and no locations loading.

Fast loosing faith in W10M

I'm having issues with Cortana voice commands. I say a command, like, "Shuffle Music", she apparently hears it correctly, but I get the message, "I'm sorry, something went wrong. Try again in a little bit", but it's been happening all day. On cell data and with wifi connection...

UPDATE: today this issue I mentioned in the post above is not happening, so I guess it was a back-end issue that has been resolved.

I am not facing any freezing or responsiveness issues. But problem like you mentioned in your earlier post - battery life is very worst. (950XL) Some times its reboots in between 30 - 40%. The drop is too fast. And the reboot between 30 - 40% is frustrating!

Not sure what the production build is but this thread is for Slow and Release Preview, and as you noted the current Release Preview is XX.479. Someone at WC is dropping the ball.
