Is there a toggle setting to not show recently installed apps in the app screen listing?

No, but if you tap the x in the top right corner, they will all go away.

Yes, I know I can delete them as they show up. I thought in the last build 10166 there was the ability to not show any recently installed apps in the top of the list. Seems like there was a setting or choice to allow this before.

I don't believe there has ever been an option for that on the phone. There is on the tablet/pc version though.
