How do you feel about that? I feel like they abbandoned us, lied again. First they said every wp8.1 would receive it, then only lumia with 4+gb, now i discovered even my lumia 1520 will receive it officially. The fact it receives it trough insider is not enough imho. What do you think?

It doesn't matter. Anyone who wants Windows 10 on their device can get it through the Windows Insider program.
Yes that's correct! By providing the Insider program, Microsoft already fulfilled their promise of W10M being available to all WP8 handsets. Even if no WP8 phones were to be officially upgraded to W10M, they have already delivered.
In fact, the Insider program is probably the premise on which Microsoft based the promise.
Unlike Windows 10 Insider preview for desktops, we doubt that this means that the phone will stop booting on October 1, here’s what’s likely to happen. Once Microsoft releases whatever build they release on September 15, you have 2 weeks to download and install that build before you are shut out of the insider preview. Once that happens, you will most likely lose the option of jumping to Windows 10 and need to wait for your carrier (a dangerous proposition if you have an fairly old Lumia, the AT & T Lumia 830 and a Verizon handset)
.
Two weeks to upgrade. That said it does offer a dilemma if you need to reload your OS with Recovery, as you would roll back to the latest "official" release.
All the misconceptions being rolled out here have already been thoroughly discussed/debunked there.
We don't yet know whether the L1520 will or will not be updated. It very likely could depend on each L1520's branding (which carrier sold it). The only devices where we are certain that they will not receive the update are those with 4GB of storage.
There is also no evidence of MS promising that every device WILL be upgraded to W10M.
