Should Microsoft let Insiders help design the UI visually?

Well, i guess that's the whole point of the program. Isn't it?

You'd end up with basically what we have now in W10M which is a bland patchwork of conflicting styles except maybe with even more cheesy transparency effects since the whole "make it look like Windows 7" crowd is very vocal.

The last time I had the W10M preview installed there was a thread in the insider suggestion app which mad many votes for "follow the Metro standard". I guess MS forgot about that one.

I think microsoft is heading in the right direction with the ui. They need to polish the os to be as snappy as 8.1. A lot of work has to be done.
