xiaomi mi4 ??

I've been reading about the xiaomi mi4 and windows 10.Ive been looking at the specs of these phones and they seem pretty great.Ive also been kind of eyeing the Lumia 950 and looking at possibly getting one.

Where I am in Ireland the 950 is ?600 off contract.Im looking at the mi4c now at ?350

The mi4 has similar specs to 950.3gb ram/32gb internal and a snapdragon 808 processor.

In fact I think it is much more desirable without the gimmicks of continuum and iris scanning plus if w10m goes belly up within the next few years,you can always revert to android on the device.

I'm not sure what exact mi4 models these new w10 roms will work on or how well they will work on xiaomi, but its got to be a viable alternative to the 950

Anyone know anything about these phones and which models (mi4i,mi4c) will work on w10 ??

The ROM is supposed to be released for Mi4 only at this time and not the Mi4 C which is equivalent to the Lumia 950. The Mi4 is a 16GB device with no SD card slot making it similar to the Lumia 925. The Mi4 is an older device, the Mi4 C is a much newer device.

I would advise you to wait and watch. If Xiaomi makes WM10 available for Mi4 C then yes I think it would be an awesome device for under $300.

Apparently some users report its only available for mi4 LTE, regular mi4's not even supported.
