Keyboard issue help needed

I'm hoping somebody can help me out to a quick with my keyboard issue. Using Nokia 1520 WM10 latest insider build.
Just this morning my keyboard started blocking the message area on Messenger and Facebook. I'm not able to see the message I'm typing. I can't find a setting to fix this

Sounds like a simple bug. Have you tried a soft reset? Just shut your phone off and turn it back on. It might help to let it sit for a few minutes before turning it back on, too. Let me know if that works.

Yeah tried the soft reset. 3 times. In fact right now my keyboard is covering my typed response to you. I'm hoping I don't need to do a hard reset.

I just found out that the keyboard works as normal when in landscape mode. It's driving me nuts and I can't figure it out!
