Transitioning from W8.1 to W10 mobile

While transitioning from W8.1 to W10 will the W8.1 apps installed in my mobile will work or not?. Upgrade should not alter the existing app functionality which is already installed as w8.1. but I am not confident on Microsoft development/developers and testers... Any one can answer my query... thanks...

The question is too broad. With the number of apps available, it is quite likely that some will not work on 10.

Off the top of my head, Uber is great with Cortana. Flashlight Ct wouldn't be needed because there is one in the action center now. Files becomes Files explorer, if I am not mistaken.

Hope so the apps listed will not be removed or should not be non functional when we install win10...... Am not sure how Microsoft is working on to preserve the existing installed apps on win 8.1 mobiles across countries......

Uber has a updated app. I'm sure that you should be able to use some of the other ones though, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yes apps are all working, the only concern is that with windows 10 you cant hide the on-screen buttons on some apps like 8.1 unless it is a universal app, when playing games, buttons are disappearing but the bar is staying there its a pain.

Thank you.....on screen button?.. You mean navigation button?.. Will it be issue for Lumia 930 too , it has soft keys for navigation.(back,home and search)
