Can't update Windows 10 mobile

I own a Lumia 640 and I updated a fe weeks ago to Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones (​10.0.10586.29) and a few day later I needed to reset the phone erasing everything. But now I have a notification of the update Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones (​10.0.10586.36) ready to download. For days now I am stuck at 21%. Any ideas without having to downgrade to 8.1 since my laptop is dead.

The only thing I think you can do is a hard reset and try the update again. Apart from that, the only viable option is the update recover tool, which will unfortunately take you back to 8.1, but at least from there you can download the insider app and jump straight to .36

I guess it is, but it is possibly the only way to get you out of the problem. It's worth trying it again and if that doesn't work use the recovery tool.

Ok a few days ago did my haed reset a now I am at 63% download of build.36... Been that way for a few days now... Guess I'll have to be patient and wait and see.

That's how my update went also to.36 took a few days then all of a sudden it was ready to install.

Ok a few days ago did my haed reset a now I am at 63% download of build.36... Been that way for a few days now... Guess I'll have to be patient and wait and see.

Restart: soft reset, turn off/on your phone, and it will continue fast, it can not take few days. For me it was about 6 hours to complete, few hours on 0% connected to a charger and had it after few hours, and of course, then installation process.

After doing a hard reset for the second time it should the download the next day at 63% but I am still at that point for days now.

I've just upgraded and .36 isn't even showing for me. Has it been pulled again?

Yesterday got an error on the download of .36... This morning got the notification of .63 available for download. Lets see how long it takes for it to download.

Still at 0%..... I guess my conection is just to slow since at the moment I'm at 128kbps until my cycle over and get LTE next week.

Done... Several hard resets last night but now at build 10586.63
