How to install APPX file on windows 10 with latest update?

Ive been searching the net on how to install local apps on Win10 phone. I tried using SD card but whenever i go to my store apps I cant see the SD card option there where I can install the downloaded apps. Does anyone have a working method on how to install it? Whenever I try to directly install the APPX or XAP using file manager. When I click it, it will show the Install app button, after clicking it nothing happens. It will just go back to where I was before I click the install button. I tried reseting the phone. Still the same. Can someone help? My win10 version is 10.0.10586.29.

Fixed....

Goto setting--> click update and click for developers and in that u have to choose developer mode... Thats all. Now try again.
NB: Only the .appx file can install in wp 10.. None other extension will not work. I have tried it... So only download .appx file or .appx bundle.
