Hi, I'm running windows Mobile 10 on a Lumia 1520, the phone has a 128GB sd card, I have found that everyday about 12Gb of date is written to the sd card, when I check Storage it points to App&Games, I don't play games and don't download apps from store, the only way to get rid of them is to get the card from the phone into a pc and delete the folder WPSystem, is there a way to stop those downloads? Thank you.

Check your settings. If you have it set to store Apps on the SD card then while you don't download apps, the phone will update and install System apps like mail onto the card. This is what goes into WPSystem.

I have set that everything goes into my phone, nothing goes to the sd card, right now, I have taken the card again I wiped 8.3Gb from the card hidden file. The card is ok because I used the test program and I had the same issue with my 32Gb card.
I have deleted all my backups from oneDrive, so really don't know what is downloading into the card.

downgraded the phone to wp 8.1 and still have the same issue so I have reverted to m10
