Try disabling DHCP on wifi router menu, it assigns auto ip addresses in local devices and it could override them

You are trying to assign the device the same IP address ( as the default gateway, this would be unlikely to work.

    Hi Apex,

The ip address is a basic gateway to access internet so computer manufacturers allocate separate ip address for each and every system. The router is an additional device to access effective internet service. The private ip address like ip address used to different security purposes. The accessing private ip address is so simple but method of using ip address can be varied as per version of operating system. Normally windows, Unix, linux, mac os and ios and other versions can access private ip address but users should follow lot instructions to avoid more significant problems. As per router default gateway ip address can be changed so users have to verify address with manual.

    All the best

If you have reset your router or removed the power for about 30 seconds and you still cannot connect by using
    "", "" or " then run ipconfig /flushdns then run ipconfig /renew.

if you still cannot connect to your router then open internet explorer Options > Advanced tab > click reset and follow instructions, before doing that: right click the network connection icon on the taskbar and click "Diagnose and repair". Also make sure that you do not have any infections and clear all cookies and temporary internet files.
