Now, SD400 is a SoC, not only the processor but every piece of silicon that is part of it. :wink:

From the model name 8230AB I'd say it's the up-frequency version of the old 8230, which belongs to the old S4 family and below 8260/8960 series.

This 8230AB got same GPU and even same single channel DDR2 with the old 8230 so even they put it under SD400....it's still a S4 to me

you are on the latest build. only the Lumia 550, 650 and the 950 are able to get the Redstone previews at the moment.

You can choose between Slow and Release, Production is for getting out Insider program. Today, both Slow and Release has the same build 10586.164 released to the masses, and we are standing by new maybe on fist week in April

I have a Lumia 520 and I updated it to latest Insider Update after hacking the registry as they told in a previous post and lol messages app wont work. I have reset my phone and the app is opening now. I'll have to see how this goes.

A couple of weeks ago I was considering buying the L950XL even if it's expensive. I said, well my L920 is 3 years old, maybe it's time to buy a new phone.
I think I made a very good decision in not buying it after I've seen the whole lie MS sold us. The point is I don't have any guarantee that the new L950 will ever get a newer OS then the actual one W10.
Sorry but on Android every phone had a chance to upgrade to a newer OS version atleast once.

Every Android phone has not had a chance to upgrade at least once. That's a ridiculous statement lol.

Win10 is THE LAST MS o.s. , it will not be a Win11. It will develop in future build after build.

Hardware using 10 now can use 10 in future. That's so obvious I can't believe there's the need of writing!

Redstone insider build is only for new phones at the moment. Older phones will get 586.164.

Search scrolling top of page the articles about Windows 10 roll out: Gabe said for x20 series build 10586 will be the last in Insider. Maybe Redstone will be released in slow on Summer for all windows 10 updatable phone, not x20 serie.
You can still normally use 10586 but after that day you'll never get support, if there are not change of strategy.
Collecting feedback revealed Win10 is too much problematic on X20 serie for a solution.

Insiders 586 branch is the end of the line for S4 based phones.

So if you want Windows 10 on your S4 based phones before the switch off the insiders 586 branch.
