Store check for updates not working

Hi,
I have upgraded the 830 of my girlfriend.
Everything is working well except one thing:
The Store cannot find any update, not by itself or using the check for updates.
I'm able to search for an app and manually update, the big issue is that the Store itself cannot be updated and it stuck to an older version.
Is there someone with the same problem?

try a soft reset and then check for updates

already tried.. there is another strange behavior.
While the store app is checking for updates, the screen goes black and back again for some milliseconds, and with the screen black also the backlight of the physical buttons it power off.
I believe that the only way to fix it is the hard reset, but I cannot do it right now because she will loose some game progress.

Same happened with mine.
You have to perform a hard reset.
Store will search updates of all apps automatically then including the store app itself after hard reset
