Outlook no longer opens to correct email/account

I'm using Outlook version 17.6769.40322.0.

Previous I could tap on a email notification from the action center and that would open up the actual email (or at least the correct email account).

Now it only shows the last item that I had open.

I just noticed a few days ago so it must be a result of the last update. So far I've tried doing a soft reset with no success.

Anyone know what's going on and how to fix it?

EDIT:

Took the long route and hard reset. Everything seems to be working fine now.
