remove word from dictionary?

Is it possible to simply remove an added word from the dictionary?

Not without a hard reset of your phone to restore the OS to the original state before you started using it. If you restore from a backup, you'll get your words back, though.

This is definitely something that Microsoft needs to address, and there is Feedback about it, which I have already upvoted.

Absolutely! Having to reset to remove a wrong word is just plain silly.
