    It's a pity, as many of us can't afford 950's and I just bought the dual sim 650 - but it's a no.

    What you can do to protect your data on a 650 is encrypt your phone (and that mandates using a PIN on lockscreen) and engage reset protection.

    Settings > System > Device encryption
    Settings > Update & Security > Find my phone > Reset Protection

    No one can access your data without the PIN, they cannot use the notification/action center buttons to access settings or other features. They cannot plug your device into a PC and browse the data over a USB connection without the PIN. They cannot use WDRT to flash your phone and make it usable if stolen.

    The only weak point is the data on SD can be read if the card is removed...

    Complete unuseful gadget IMHO, a lock screen pin access is far better and cheap that fancy hello, hi, byby, iris and thumb scans ;)

    A 650 is the best mid range buy winphone for now
