"This update can help make your phone work even better".
I'm not a native English speaker, and my English is very far from perfect, but this phrase sounds very sloppy...
Can. Help (???). Make . Your. Phone. Work. Even. Better.
Will make your phone work better? Will make your awesome phone even better?

They should have it as "This update may make your phone perform worse".😆

The English is fine. It can help with something. Thats a normal sentence.

I wouldn't be surprised if the grammar was poor, but I think it checks out.

I agree. The sentence sucks. It might actually be easier for non native english speakers to spot.
It's stating that the update won't necessarily make anything better on its own. It can only "help" in achieving that goal. Furthermore, stating that something *can* make something better doesn't mean it *will* make something better. It's basically lawyer speak... most people will hear what they want to hear, despite it actually having said nothing at all.

lol it can "help" to make it better or worse or nothing at all, but the worst is the one saying "we're migrating your data" my dad was so freaked out he tried to desperately turn it off and called me right away after it finished saying he got hacked
