I understand the stock messaging app (sync between devices) is to end and to be replaced with Skype.
This is a blow...to me anyway.
I love the fact that I can now see and send texts on all my devices.
Like the Android app Mighty Text.
If it gets replaced with Skype does my Microsoft messaging like I have now get delivered that way and do I need a Skype account?
    Thanks

At the moment we don't know how the implementation will be for skype and messaging - maybe we'll know something in a few weeks

Unfortunately we aren't Microsoft so this site in itself doesn't affect stuff any more than say, iMore.
