Best Video Player for Continuum - W10M

Please recommend a best Video player on W10M specifically for Continuum, for High Quality files?

Stock Film & TV player is simple and great, but most important it does not have a full support for MKV format, so movies play without sound.

Universal VLC app seems great, but somehow it has a really bad playback via Continuum on High Quality movies, it shutters, lags and hangs from time to time.

CC Player is pretty good, but is CC Player Pro worth it? does anyone tried it on Continuum, does it play smooth on it, etc.
